After creating a new project, define the following information about the site:
Author The full name of the site's author.
Website title The title of your site.
Email The email address for contact.
Junk email You can specify an optional e-mail adress in the Junk e-mail field to be applied when registering your site. This is recommended, if you want to avoid unwanted messages (spam) which could flood your main e-mail adress. If this field is filled, only this e-mail adress is used when submitting. If it is empty, then the main E-mail address field is submitted.
Description A couple of sentences that briefly describe the site. ie: the type of information, the purpose of creating the site.
Website category The category the site can be referred to. Allows you to select one of the categories listed.
Site URL Your site address on the Internet. example: http://www.yoursite.com
Keywords A set of words that best characterize the content of your site. These should be words that are frequently encountered throughout your site, and that best describe your site contents. The list of these words is of great importance because search engines pay considerable attention these keywords when adding your web pages to their database.
FTP Settings
Program can be used to upload your site to the server where your site is located:
Host - the name of your site server (e.g., ftp.InternetServiceProvider.com); FTP Port - the number of the port to which the connection will be done (usually 21); Path - the path on the server to your web-site (e.g., /home/username/www); Username - the name given to you when registering to connect to the server; Password - your password for connecting to the server. You should receive all the information mentioned above from your ISP on whose server your site is located. Please check with your hosting provider if you do not know this infromation.
There is no need to type you Title, Description and Keywords fields manually. Instead, use the Extract Settings button to automatically extract this data from your existing webpages! Pressing this button will activate a window for you to input the URL of the Internet-page or specify a locally stored file containing the page.
To choose a project that has been previously saved, press the Choose button.
To rename the current project press the Rename button.
To save the project press the Save Now button.
To save the project and give it another name press the Save as button.
To receive quick help press the Help button.
The NEXT button activates the Spider window.
