POPULARITY

The Popularity ranking tool is used to show you the number of other sites linking to your site. Enter a URL in this tool and it will scan the internet, and report back how many other web sites are linking to that URL. Your popularity plays a role in in certain search engines. Many engines use this "popularity method" in ranking your web site. A good popularity rank will score higher in results pages on a number of larger search engines. By submitting your URL to FFA's, Online Malls, and Classified Ad sites, you're rank should improve over time.

The ranking task on the given search engine is waiting to be started. The ranking process is conducted on several search engines simultaneously. If you have chosen a large number of search engines, not more than 8 search engines can simultaneously conduct the ranking procedure at a time. After a search engine finds your site's ranking according to the keywords, then the first engine in the queue is selected to do the ranking. And the icon is changed for the previous one.

The icon shows that the search engine has successfully conducted the ranking according to all given keywords.

The given search engine has not indicated the ranking according to any of the keywords.

The number of keywords according to which the ranking has been successfully conducted is less than a half.

The number of keywords according to which the ranking has been successfully conducted is more than a half.

The next table's column contains the name of the search engine by means of which your site's ranking will be indicated.

The third column contains the percentage of the keywords according to which the ranking procedure (total, not only the successful attempts) were performed by the given search engine.
The next one includes information about how many keyword searches are left.
The fifth and the sixth columns show how many keywords have a successful ranking result and how many failed to conduct a ranking check.
When a search engine is in the process of ranking and you position your mouse cursor on the last column of the line over the corresponding search engine, the cursor will change its shape to the "hand" icon. If you click on the column, you can terminate the ranking procedure by that engine.

Under the table there are information fields that show the general ranking state. They indicate the percentage of the keywords that have undergone the ranking procedure, their total number, how many are left to be done, how many keywords have successful ranking results, and how many have failed.
To TERMINATE the ranking process on all search engines , press the Cancel All button.
To close this window and go to the “Popularity result checker” window press the Done button.
